2023 | that’s a wrap!

Good stuff is worth RE-sharing. Before we get into 2024, let’s look back at our favorite highlights of this year to see what we’ve achieved together.



National Tradesperson Day

September 15, 2023, was National Tradesperson Day – a big deal at EMR! We celebrated by closing all five of our branches from 8AM – 10:30AM to honor technicians and the trades industry as a whole. Throughout the morning, each branch enjoyed breakfast and games with all staff, past and present technicians received gift bags to show appreciation for their services and a 55” OLED Smart TV was raffled off with one winner per branch.


Each year, we celebrate National Tradesperson Day the entire month of September by sharing customer testimonials, skilled trades facts and statistics and more! Our annual campaign reaches well beyond the commercial kitchen parts and services sector. The ultimate goal is to build awareness of the importance of all trades to our society as a whole. Years of Service Honorees

This year we celebrated four major milestone anniversaries: Ron Williams, Industrial Ops Manager (50 years), Joe Fernkas, Industrial Electronics Manager (35 years), Caroline Kauffman-Kirschnick, EMR President (20 years) and Greg Meleney, Salisbury Tech (20 years). This many years with one company is an incredible milestone and we are honored to celebrate these achievements. The honorees and their managers enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Nick’s Fish House in Baltimore. We are so thankful for their dedication, work ethic and commitment to EMR over the years!





Stellar Inventory

A total of 51 technicians received the “Stellar Inventory Award” throughout this year! In order to receive this award, our techs must have under 25 total adjustments and under $200 in total adjustments during their van inventory. Our customers are our #1 priority. Having accurate, clean, and organized van inventory provides them with quicker repairs and first time fixes due to the part not only being on the van, but also in new and operational condition. We applaud our technicians for staying on top of their inventory and always keeping a customer-first mindset.
