The Elevators subdivision of EMR has provided service to the elevator industry for 60 years. We have developed an understanding of the industry, its special needs and requirements. As the industry has evolved, we have developed services to meet it's every changing needs.

The Industrial subdivision is what was known as the motor shop in its earlier day. It was renamed to better represent the diversity of the Division as it has grown over the years. The Division not only repairs motors; it sells new motors and variable frequency drives. The Division has a machine shop capable of in-shop and in-field machining and balancing. What once was the Divisions Industrial Wiring operation has become the outside trouble-shooting and repair arm of the Division, working in customer plants to solve electronic and systems problems.
